CT1 Unique Sealant and Construction Adhesive have acquired many accreditations over the years and recently we at C-Tec have some great news to share. CT1 again has outperformed all other sealants in respect of being awarded an ETAG Approval for bonding and sealing Shower and bathroom panels. European Technical Approval Guide (ETAG) is now the testing method for use of accessing suitability of sealing and bonding capabilities of certain sealants. The test was carried out over a seventeen week period in a purpose built unit where the panel (Respatax) was bonded with CT1 to a substrate and then the joints sealed with CT1. Hot and cold water was then periodically sprayed onto the sheets and joints. In addition steam was also blasted onto the panels during this period. Several other brands of products were also tested during this period and CT1 Unique Sealant and Construction Adhesive was the only product to complete the race hence the ETAG Accreditation.© Copyright.
